A panel discussion on a variety of topics such as how and why restaurant reviews are important, how Madison’s restaurant scene has grown and critics’ anonymity in the Internet age
The Cap Times’ Rob Thomas, author of the “Yeah, I Ate That” column about culinary oddities, will be the moderator for the group.
On the panel will be:
• Lindsay Christians, who covers food, wine and spirits for the Cap Times
• Kyle Nabilcy, longtime Isthmus food critic and author of the food-centric blog Irony or Mayo
• JM Rasmus, co-author of the blog Eating in Madison A to Z and “Madison Food: A History of Capital Cuisine”
• Stacey Lansing, the new community manger for Yelp Madison
The event is free and will start with a meet-and-greet at 6:30 p.m. The discussion itself will start at 7, ending after an hour or so
