press release: According to Forbes, “Global trade policy is undergoing its first major shift since 1995, and that change could represent the largest evolution in international commerce since World War II.”
Shifting tariffs, trade policy and changes to trade pacts have rocked companies in all sectors from agriculture to manufacturing. How is your company faring? What can you do to mitigate the impact?
Attend the March 12th MITA event and hear from two expert speakers on the topic of trade policy impact and how to mitigate the negative effects of an ever shifting national trade policy.
Speakers:
Kelsey Murphy, Compliance Counsel at Modine Manufacturing will share the steps her global company has taken to reduce the impact of the challenging trade policies. She’ll share efforts that have included supply-chain restructuring and steps to obtain exemptions from both the steel and aluminum tariffs.
Shawna Morris, VP of Trade Policy for the US Dairy Export Council will share a broad overview of trade impact on agriculture with an emphasis on the impact to dairy exports. She’ll also discuss the risk to US market share abroad.
Both presenters will share actionable steps you can take to mitigate the negative impacts of tariffs and a taciturn trade policy.
Attendees will benefit not only from the information presented, but also from the valuable networking time incorporated into every MITA session.
