Madison LakeWay Public Art Project Design Presentations

media release: The LakeWay Public Art Selection Committee, the Madison Arts Commission, Madison Parks, and the Madison LakeWay Partners are seeking community feedback on design proposals for public art for the SkyLine, the first phase of the LakeWay development.

In May, the Madison Lakeway Public Art Selection Ad Hoc Committee selected four finalists to develop design proposals. In June, the finalists gathered in Madison to learn about the site and our community, meet with staff, and to attend a community meet and greet where they presented introductions that included their approaches to public art.

SpY Studio, This is Loop, Jill Anholt Studio, and CHOI+SHINE are the four finalists. Find links to their proposals at https://www.cityofmadison.com/news/2026-09-29/share-your-input-on-madison-lakeway-skyline-public-art-designs.

Join the neighborhood meeting to watch the artists present their design proposals at 5:30pm on Thursday, October 1, 2026.

After registering, you will receive a confirmation email containing a link to join the meeting.

If you can't attend the meeting, recordings of the design proposal presentations will be available on the Madison Arts Commission website after October 1, 2026.
