Madison Science Museum Grand Opening

Opening of the new Madison Science Museum, Thursday, October 22nd. The Museum will feature exhibits on lasers (in collaboration with the UW Dept of Physics and supported by the MGE Foundation), robotics (in partnership with Sector 67), Art in Science (MIT artist Floor van de Velde), Madison Biotech industry (Covance, Exact Science, Promega, and Tomo Therapy), imaging (UW and Thermo Fisher) and Hall of Fame of UW scientists. The objective of the museum is to educate the general public on the scientific discoveries that have been developed in the Madison community and celebrate those accomplishments. For the opening weekend the Museum will be open from 10-6 on Thursday and Friday and 9-3 on Saturday. Ongoing hours are 12-5 on Wed-Friday and 9-3 on Saturday.
