March of the Meanies (Beatles tribute), Karen Wheelock, WORT-FM DJs

The WORT Events Committee announces another in a series of fundraisers to benefit 89.9FM listener-sponsored community radio. This month's Musicians for WORT event takes place at the Crystal Corner, on Saturday, August 8. It's an early show, starting at 8:30pm. On this night, the Crystal graciously hosts a stage of local award winning talent, featuring MAMA winners Karen Wheelock (opening) and Brandon Beebe, who wil be showcasing his Beatle's tribute band March of the Meanies. Spins by WORT DJs will round out the show.
