“There is drama in movement.  From the tall grass prairies to beaches, crop rows to waterfalls, clouds to abstracts, I capture the visual soul of the upper Midwest in a fresh and creative way.  My photographs demonstrate an altered and transforming way of looking - and experiencing - the familiar using a technique called time stacking which bends  traditional photography and new technologies; giving my pictures a more painterly look suggestive of post impressionism.  In the end, I seek for my art to give my viewers a dynamic and vibrant experience of images that register as familiar but guide them to a new frontier.” – Mark Weller
