McFarland Community Service Day

press release: On Saturday, April 20, the village of McFarland will be hosting the 10th Anniversary of the McFarland Community Service Day. This annual event, which always takes place the Saturday before Earth Day has activated hundreds of volunteers to #ResolveToGetInvolved through community service work. Volunteers of all ages will be pitching in to clean roadways, parks, schools, and lake shorelines throughout McFarland.
Volunteers also have the opportunity to help out with a variety of tasks at the McFarland Community Garden, the Historical Society's Larson House, the McFarland Food Pantry, and more. This day has been a great hub for community engagement and connection. After a morning of multi-generational, collaborative volunteerism, participants are treated to an ice cream treat from the local McFarland Culvers or McFarland House Cafe.
