media release: Last year, we asked what you wanted for MCM's future. Through many listening sessions with our community, board members, donors, and staff, we have been carefully dreaming and planning what comes next for the museum. Now, it's time to share that plan with the people who helped us make it happen. Join us on September 22 as Co-CEOs Brenda Baker and Kia Karlen, alongside board member Kristin Shutts, unveil MCM's new five-year strategic plan: "A Place to Dream Big—Together."

Brenda and Kia will walk through MCM's refreshed mission, vison, and values statements, giving context to the hows and whys of our new plan. We hope that you leave the event feeling inspired by our roadmap. After all, we could not have gotten this far without you!

  • Morning Session: 8:30-10am
  • Evening Session: 4:30-6pm
