Movement Arts Show
media release: This amazing show will feature aerial arts, German wheel, flow arts, dance, senior parkour, and MORE! Emceed by world yo-yo champion Mark Hayward, the unique line-up of this show highlights the diversity of movement arts in our community and the exciting results of cross-disciplinary collaboration and community-building.
This performance is made possible through a grant from the Wisconsin Arts Board and is intended to increase awareness of some of the lesser-known activities at Madison Circus Space. Although MCS primarily offers circus activities, some of the greatest diversity in students and participants comes from non-circus activities: on any given week, MCS is home to eight different dance classes in styles ranging from ballet to Afro-Peruvian, a senior parkour class, a "How to Fall Safely" class for older adults, and three separate martial arts activities.
Tickets range from $10 to $30 for this indoor seated show and can be purchased online: https://madisoncircusspace.com/events/. Please contact info@madisoncircusspace.com if you have specific accessibility requests. Please note that parking fills up fast at MCS. Plan accordingly the day of the show–leave plenty of time to find parking, or take alternate transportation. If you are able, please park on the side streets and leave parking closer to MCS for those with mobility issues.
