MTI Bowl-a-Thon

press release: MTI Cares 6^th Annual Bowl-A-Thon and Silent Auction, a fundraiser for the Food 4 Thought Initiative (F4TI). Food4TI operates food pantries at four Madison schools and is looking to establish a fifth at Hawthorne Elementary.  “Students should be hungry to learn, not hungry.”

MTI Cares is the community outreach committee of Madison Teachers Inc. (MTI), the Union representing teachers, education professionals and support personnel in the Madison Metropolitan School District. The committee consists of MTI members who collaborate in support of organizations that help improve the lives of children and families served by the Madison Metropolitan School District. With the participation of caring and engaged members, MTI believes that together, we can improve the quality of life for students and families of the Madison Metropolitan School District who are struggling and need additional support.

This will be a family friendly event. Each team will occupy one lane.  Bowling fees are $6 per bowler that covers shoe rental and 3 games.  We are asking that each bowler attempt to raise $20 from pledges (friends, family, co-workers, etc.).
