press release: The League of Women Voters of Wisconsin is hosting its fourth webinar in its series on the National Popular Vote Interstate Compact, a bill that guarantees the Presidency to the candidate who receives the most popular votes in the nation.
Join the League for the fourth and final National Popular Vote (NPV) webinar titled, “National Popular Vote: Getting It Done in Wisconsin” where members of the NPV working group and WI legislators will discuss what it will take to get the National Popular Vote bill passed in Wisconsin.
“The National Popular Vote Interstate Compact is essential to representative government,” said Debra Cronmiller, executive director of the League of Women Voters of Wisconsin. “It’s time to ramp up the movement and get the bill passed here in Wisconsin to improve our democracy.”
