Works for violin, cello, and piano by Estonian composer Arvo Pärt. Pärt is a contemporary composer, and pioneer in the minimalist movement. At once ancient and modern, his music resonates with audiences around the world. In fact, for eight of the past thirteen years, Pärt was the most performed living composer in the world. Come hear why so many find his music to be so special.
The FRIDAY NOON MUSICALE is First Unitarian Society of Madison’s distinguished artist recital series. Since 1971, FUS has offered this free noon-hour recital series as a gift to the community. Come hear some of the finest musicians in the Midwest perform in the Frank Lloyd Wright-designed Landmark Auditorium.
