Nurturing Your Child's Interest in the Outdoors

press release: Eco-Action Tuesdays, a program series based on the “ripple effect” that begins in our own backyards and which explores sustainability issues through entertaining hands on learning and presentations, is pleased to announce its March 28, 2017 program all about “Nurturing Your Child’s Interest in the Outdoors” at 6:30 PM in the Municipal Room on the lower level of the Monona Public Library, 1000 Nichols Rd, Monona.
Respecting and protecting the natural world and sustainability go hand in hand; these concepts can be introduced to children at any age. Join Aldo Leopold Nature Center Naturalist Emily Steinwehe at this interactive, hands on presentation and discover fun ways to show children the importance of nature in their lives! Participants will create their own free take home item! There will be free refreshments and a door prize.
