press release: During his last semester at UW Madison, Oakland California native Obasi Davis, has been working on his senior thesis "Town Blues". Inspired by the innovative color blocking of streetwear brands and designers of the 90s and early 2000s such as Cross Colors, Karl Kani and Fubu, "Town Blues", investigates the relationship between men's streetwear and industrial workwear with a focus on color theory.
Join us at August on May 9, at 8pm to experience a curated installation of "Town Blues" featuring live performances from special guests and a DJ set from brightviolet.
