Oedipus Tex is the solo project of Eric Caldera. The guitarist for instrumental soundscaping trio El Valiente, which amicably folded in April after 10 years, Caldera’s acoustic songs are just as arresting absent his old bandmates’ volume. In the Rushes is the latest from Connie Ward, a Madison-based musician formerly of Building on Buildings.
