Peace of Art

press release: Madison-based nonprofit Creating a Peaceful World Inc. is for the third year hosting its annual fundraiser, this time at Middleton Station Apartments, 7710 Terrace Avenue, Middleton, Wisconsin, on Saturday, February 27, 2016, from 3:00 pm to 7:00 pm. The event will feature local artists’ works in a silent auction, with refreshments and hors d’oeuvres.

“We’ve had a lot of fun in previous years’ events,” said Michaela Torcaso, president and founder. “This year we’re blessed to have a great new venue and some amazing pieces of art."

Creating a Peaceful World is a volunteer-staffed organization that works to provide comfort and support for people or groups experiencing trauma or discomfort, or supporting those who support others in such circumstances.
