Peter Case, Kevn Kinney
Kiki's House of Righteous Music 1326 MacArthur Road, Madison, Wisconsin 53714
June 19 @ 8 pm (doors @ 7) Peter Case & Kevn Kinney, suggested donation $25
Kevn Kinney is best know as the founder, lead guitarist and frontman of Atlanta based rock band Drivin-N-Cryin, which he started in 1985. Lesser known is the fact that he's originally from Milwaukee. It will be a treat to see him up close and personal for this solo acoustic show.
Peter Case has done it all, including power pop, rock and authentic Mississippi blues, in his legendary career spanning forty years. He was in Valley Girl with his band the Plimsouls, and he's played the House of Righteous Music three times previously. He's a master storyteller and a gifted songwriter. It's a pleasure to have him back as part of this great double bill.
Reservations will be taken for this show at righteousmusicmgmt@gmail.com. On confirmation there is space available you can guarantee your spot by sending a check to Kiki Schueler, 1326 MacArthur Rd, Madison WI 53714.
Parking Alert
There is now no parking on either side of MacArthur Rd. You can still park on the side streets but allow a little extra time to find a spot. If you park on Ellenwood or Duncan off of Mendota there's a little path up to MacArthur Court which leads right to my door.
All shows are all ages and BYOB, I'll have coolers with ice available. As always, all money goes to the musicians.
