media release: Phillip Phillips returns with the announcement of his brand-new EP Let’s Go Far: Vol. 1 – out September 4th. Phillips also announces his fall headlining Let’s Go Far Tour and releases the heartfelt new single “Let’s Go Far” – available now on all platforms. 

To celebrate the release of the new EP, Phillip will hit the road this fall, kicking off his Let’s Go Far Tour on September 10 in Dallas and stopping in major markets including Austin, Seattle, San Francisco, Anaheim, Chicago, Boston, Philadelphia, New York, Nashville, Atlanta and more. 

“Let’s Go Far” captures the warm, soulful, road-ready energy fans have always connected with, while also opening the door to a fresh creative era for him. The introspective single serves as a moment of reflection, assessing how far Phillip has come and setting the intention to go even further into the next chapter of his life & musical identity. Supported by beautiful guitar flourishes and Phillip’s honest & raw vocals, “Let’s Go Far” is a reflection on having the strength to keep pushing forward.

Of the new song, Phillips says, “Sometimes ‘going far’ isn’t about distance. It’s about surviving the moments that try to pull you apart and still choosing each other at the end of the day. This song is for the people carrying old wounds, family burdens, restless dreams, and the hope that somewhere beyond all of it is a life built on love and the family they’ve created together.”

American Songwriter premiered the new track in June, saying “The singer-songwriter just dropped his new single, “Let’s Go Far,” the second track of his latest career era, one that’s defined by both his love for his family and his music.”
