Badger Harley-Davidson partners with Center for Families for Pinwheels for Prevention.
Badger Harley-Davidson (6200 Millpond Rd, Madison) and Center for Families, Madison-based nonprofit, are teaming up for “Pinwheels for Prevention”; a national initiative to end child abuse and neglect in recognition of April’s National Child Abuse Prevention Month.
Throughout the month of April 2015, Badger Harley-Davidson will be selling whimsical Pinwheels for Prevention at their Madison dealership. Customers are encouraged to purchase and affix a pinwheel to their bike or car as a demonstration of their commitment to healthy child development and child abuse prevention.
“We know that partnering with Center for Families for the Pinwheels for Prevention campaign is going to provide significant support to children and their parents in our community” stated Art & Marketing Director, Joshua Barraza
The Pinwheel symbolizes:
… the prevention of child abuse and neglect
… a commitment to ensuring all children thrive in loving, nurturing environments
… a commitment to ending child abuse, neglect and maltreatment
Pinwheels are…
… an uplifting reminder of childhood and the bright futures all children deserve
… a reflection of hope, health and safety.
Pinwheels for Prevention will be available throughout the month of April at Badger Harley-Davidson starting April 1, 2015. Pinwheels will be sold for a minimum donation of $5 each. All proceeds go to support the child abuse prevention programs offered by Center for Families.
“Ride with pride knowing your pinwheel donation provides preventative strategies including home visiting, parent education, support groups and emergency/crisis support” says Center for Families’ Development Manager, Julie Sheldon.
