The Rabin String Quartet is named in honor of Dr. Marvin J. Rabin (1916-2013). An internationally acclaimed music educator and Emeritus Professor of Music at UW–Madison, Dr. Rabin  influenced generations of students throughout his life. The Marvin Rabin String Quartet is generously funded by a gift from Stan and Shirley Inhorn.
