Raise a Stink
Capitol 2 E. Main St., Madison, Wisconsin 53703
press release: We are at a crossroads in Wisconsin. Our water, air and quality of life is threatened by industrial agriculture and its factory farming and there are many examples across Wisconsin of the harm and pollution that often accompanies factory farms.
We The People have the power to change what no longer serves us and it's time our elected officials in Madison decide to stand with us, the citizens of Wisconsin, and help us push back against a greedy and immoral industry that is poisoning our rural communities. Factory farming is NOT about feeding the world; it's about feeding the bottom line of industrial agriculture and it's time to demand accountability from CAFO owners, our elected officials and our regulatory agencies.
Come to Madison on October 22 and help us Raise a Stink on the doorstep of where this mess started -- at the Capitol in 2006 when Governor Doyle passed the Livestock Siting Law and local communities were placed in the cross-hairs of factory farming.
