Rebulú
It’s been a busy spring for Rebulú, with sets at the Pursuit of Happiness Session, Marquette Waterfront Fest and WORTstock. But you don’t have to wait for a festival to catch the big band’s dance-friendly blend of music from the Latin American diaspora — Rebulú plays second and fourth Thursdays as part of the weekly Latin Dance Night at Robinia Courtyard (alternating with La Combi). Each week kicks off with a DJ and dance lessons. Find more info at robiniacourtyard.com.
Latin. $10.
media release: Latin Dance Night features one of Madison's two favorite Latin bands:
1st and 3rd Thursdays of every month are hosted by La Combi with Luis Armacanqui teaching the dance lesson prior to the live music.
2nd and 4th Thursdays of every month feature Rebulú Group with Francis Medrano teaching the dance lesson prior to the live music.
The random 5th Thursday of a month will always feature Latin Night with either one of out two main acts or another local Latin band.
