Choreographer Reggie Wilson brings his Brooklyn-based Fist & Heel Performance Group to explore the timely and relevant theme of belonging. In five solos, interspersed with haunting footage, Wilson and his talented troupe explore the history of African Americans in the United States, using elements of blues, folk and African culture to question our notions of what it means to be an American. And they have the best tagline: “Not Just Your Mama’s Post-Modern Dance Company.”
