2018 MMG Law Annual Conference
Friday, March 23, 2018 – 8:30am to 2:30pm, Christ Presbyterian Church, 944 E Gorham Street
A one-day conference in which we will be exploring ways different community service providers and legal professionals encounter and resist injustice in the legal system and community, especially the immigrant community. This will include discussions with immigration and criminal defense lawyers and community advocates detailing their efforts to challenge injustice and exploring new opportunities in the community to further these efforts.
Invited and confirmed Speakers:
Discussion led by Immigration Attorney Matthew Gillhouse from MMG Law LLC, Criminal Defense Attorney Anthony Delyea from Delyea Law Office, Immigration Attorney Aissa Olivares-Garcia from Community Immigration Law Center, Immigration Affairs Specialist Fabiola Hamdan from the Dane County Department of Human Services and many other community leaders.
Who should attend this conference:
"This is an open conference for anybody who wants to learn and exchange ideas and personal experiences with all the attendees. The presentation will be in English but all of our speakers are bilingual English/Spanish speakers and questions can be asked in either language. We encourage community members, community leaders, service providers, students, teachers, parents, attorneys and any person interested in fighting injustice and supporting our immigrant community to attend this event."
