Singer-songwriter, storyteller, and guitar-pickin’ hillbilly bluesman Roy Book Binder has earned his stripes rambling around the world for the past 45 years. His career began in the 60s, traveling and learning guitar from the legendary Rev. Gary Davis and Pink Anderson. Book Binder has performed at most major blues and folk festivals in the U.S. and Europe, has toured with Bonnie Raitt, JJ Cale, and Hot Tuna, and has shared the stage with BB King, John Jackson, Sonny Terry, and Brownie McGhee. He has appeared regularly on the national TV show Nashville Now and been included in Sheldon Harris' book The Blues Who's Who. Book Binder is a veteran teacher whose engaging style of music has enraptured students at many workshops nationally. A distinct voice in the music world, Roy Book Binder is still out on the road entertaining global audiences, where he is well known as a blues legend.
