press release: Come celebrate the Summer Solstice with a 10k Run & 5k Run/Walk at the Aldo Leopold Nature Center’s beautiful Black Earth Campus. Test your mettle on this challenging cross country course or amble along at a leisurely pace as you enjoy spectacular scenery including, a beautiful prairie, unique rock formations and gorgeous woodlands in the heart of the Driftless Area.

Tired of running on city streets and need a “nature” fix or just craving the challenge of something new? Enlist your family, friends and colleagues and sign up now—it’s a great opportunity to support children’s environmental education programs and restoration efforts at the Aldo Leopold Nature Center.

Training for a tough mudder? The 10k Run and 5k Run are perfect for toughing up for the rigors of a mudder.

Prefer a less strenuous experience? The 5k Walk will take you through all the stunning terrain, but at a laid-back pace.

Race-day registration begins at 9 am; race at 10 am.
