Fresh and hot out of the garage rock’n’roll oven that is The Safes comes the newest addition to their glimmering discography Tasty Waves. The Safes deliver another winner with a weird batch of lyrics sure to make you laugh, think, wonder, agree, cringe and scream HELL YEAH as they somehow simultaneously make the hair stand on the back of your neck. For the uninitiated, they pack the punch of Stiff Records stalwarts (Nick Lowe, Dave Edmunds) lyrically with hints of Zombies, Big Star and Guided by Voices, musically. Tasty Waves is a musical and lyrical hang ten complete with wipeouts and endless full tunnel runs top to bottom. The Safes are making the trip to Madison fresh off a Japanese tour.
