Seedballs
Madison Children's Museum 100 N. Hamilton St., Madison, Wisconsin 53703
Use clay, soil and seeds to make seedballs!
Seed balls can be used in guerrilla planting to add beauty to backyards, vacant lots and railroad tracks. Seedballs were originally invented to drop from airplanes to reforest devastated land.
Kids will gain an understanding of the cycles and processes of plants and use fine motor skills to create their own seedballs.
