Selected Shorts

media release: Spawning a long-running public radio show and now a popular podcast, Selected Shorts proves story time is not just for kids. For more than four decades, the theatrical series from New York’s Symphony Space has kept a simple formula: Entice great actors with masterful short stories and see what happens. And what happens, according to Cynthia Nixon, is “that mind-blowing alchemy that can occur when you mix a committed live performer, a receptive audience, and a sizzling piece of writing.” Come take part in a funny, moving, and meaningful night of storytelling from some of the best storytellers of stage and screen working today.
