Sitka Salmon Shares, along with our friends from Slow Food Madison and Southern Wisconsin Trout Unlimited, invites you to join us on Sunday, December 6 as we welcome a few of our fishermen to Madison! Through a moderated panel discussion led by Matt Feifarek of Slow Food Madison, we'll explore Southeast Alaska's fisheries, the role of sustainable management, the contribution of wild seafood in today's good food movement, and the value in supporting small-boat, family fishermen.
Our panelists include:
Marsh Skeele, king and coho salmon fisherman
Chelsea McLeod, king and coho salmon fisherman
Kirk Hardcastle, sockeye and coho salmon fisherman
Dan Fox, Heritage Tavern owner and executive chef, Salmon Shares partner
Michael Gutschenritter, Three Brothers Farm owner and producer, Salmon Shares partner
Light appetizers featuring Salmon Shares' wild Alaskan salmon will be provided, in addition to a cash bar. Following the panel, we invite you to stay, mingle, and learn more about Salmon Shares, Slow Food Madison, and Southern Wisconsin Trout Unlimited and their respective work within and beyond Madison.
