Songwriting Session

As part of Sequoya Library's Here Comes the Summer celebration of music and the Beatles sponsored by the Friends of Sequoya Library come and learn about writing music. Lucas Cates is a national touring, original acoustic singer/songwriter/agent out of Madison, WI. His music has won over 16 Madison Area Music Awards and 2 WAMIs in the last 9 years. With the self release of six albums and his "real-world" experience as a touring musician/manager of The Lucas Cates Band, he has gained a namesake in the greater Wisconsin area as a prominent musical act and music business professional.
