The Roaring 20s: Flappers, Fitzgerald and…musical and scientific breakthroughs? The 1920s were a decade of tremendous intellectual and musical fecundity. The decade that launched the Wisconsin Alumni Research Foundation with the discovery of vitamin D also spawned many smaller inventions with great impact on our world today.
