Summertime Fun: Mounds
Did you know Wisconsin is home to more thunderbirds and water panthers than any other state? You might even be asking yourself: What is a thunderbird? Learn about Wisconsin’s effigy, conical, and linear mounds through hands-on activities. Build your own miniature mound out of clay, learn about where we find mounds, and recognize different mound shapes.
