Sun Prairie Farmers' Market

media release: The 2025 Outdoor Sun Prairie Farmers’ Market has officially begun and runs Saturdays in May through October 25, 7 a.m. to noon in Downtown Sun Prairie. This year’s market is presented by Salvatore’s Tomato Pies.

The Sun Prairie Farmers’ Market is proud to present a strong lineup of local farmers, artisan food producers, and makers from the surrounding local area.  These vendors have dedicated a significant amount of time and effort to bring the Sun Prairie community the highest quality products around.

This 2025 season, attendees can expect a variety of monthly community events on the third Saturday of every month, featuring live music, and fun for everyone. The first monthly event, "Bike to Market", is scheduled for May 17 and encourages community members to ride their bikes down to the market and check out all of the transportation-related resources available. The Wisconsin Bike Fed will be on site to provide balance bikes for young children along with Metro Transit to feature one of its buses and educate attendees on how to appropriately load a bike onto the bus. City staff will be present at the event to engage with community members regarding the local bus service and to share tips for walking and biking safely around the city. Organizations such as Sun Prairie Moves, Metro Bus, MadTown BMX, Sun Prairie Mountain Bike Team, and Greater Madison Metropolitan Planning Organization will have booths to share information and engage with attendees. This event is sponsored by One Community Bank.
