press release: Formed in 1994, Sunburned Hand of the Man are pioneers of the free-flowing, psychedelic movement of music now called "New Weird America" or "Freak Folk". Californians Dire Wolves have been exploring similarly improvised psychedelic territories since 2009, augmenting their rock band instrumentation with violin and saxophone to create a heady, meditative sound.
