Sunn O))) on stage.

Sunn O)))

Pronounced “Sun,” Sunn O))) is one of the most recognized names in the niche drone-metal scene — blending dark ambient and doom motifs into a heavier-than-thou sound. Renowned for staging highly visual and loud performances, the duo is on tour behind its self-titled 10th album — six instrumental dirges sprawled across 79 minutes. It’s also Sunn O)))’s first release on Sub Pop Records, arguably the most famous indie label in the country. Don’t be surprised if most of King Street starts vibrating during this show. Jazzy improv multi-instrumentalist Stebmo and Earth bassist Bill Herzog open.
