press release: The Wyoming Valley School Cultural Arts Center is pleased to host a showing of wildlife paintings by Cross Plain's artist Suzanne Ellis. Ellis paints wildlife and nature because she wants to share the unbelievable beauty of the natural world. Suzanne describes her work as " how I pray for and celebrate what I love. I paint with acrylics and use my own photos for reference. I have traveled to many wild places to study and photograph the animals in their natural habitat. My love of animals and their wild places started at an early age. I followed my father,Mel Ellis, like a shadow. He was a writer and naturalist and my first teacher".
There will be an opening for the exhibit Friday, August 14 from 5pm to 8pm. Hours on Saturday and Sunday are 10 am to 4 pm.
The Wyoming Valley School Cultural Arts Center, designed by Frank Lloyd Wright, is located at 6306 State HWY 23, 3miles south of Spring Green WI.
