Sweet Delta Dawn is a four piece rock ensemble from Madison consisting of a talented group of musicians/songwriters. Starting in 2012, Sweet Delta Dawn has been a staple in the Madison jam community ever since. Covering a variety of jam, classic rock, jazz, funk, prog and modern music alongside a multicultural mix of rhythms, their music creates a platform for people to feel free and expressive.

Heavily inspired by bands like The Grateful Dead, Phish, The Beatles, The Allman Brothers Band and Pink Floyd, Sweet Delta Dawn brings miles of smiles everywhere they go. “You will LOVE Sweet Delta Dawn!” raves The Frequency!

Sweet Delta Dawn performed at the The 46th, 47th, and headlined the 48th Annual Great Midwest Marijuana Harvest Festivals in Madison. They have performed at Bubble Music Festival, Make Music Madison, Portal Music Festival, Madison Norml’s 5th, 6th, & 7th Annual 420 Fest, and have hosted concerts at dozens of different local and regional music venues including The Orpheum Theater, The High Noon Saloon, The Frequency, The Brink Lounge, The Crystal Corner, The Harmony Bar, Peace Park, Fire On Water, HVAC Pub (Chicago), and many more. Sweet Delta Dawn’s other appearances include festivals such as The Family Gathering, who called the band "another one of our great acts,” as well as Toodeloo Music Festival, who recommends you “Get up to speed with some Sweet Delta Dawn!" Sweet Delta Dawn has also performed at Downtown Madison’s “Live & Local” event 2 years in a row. They have worked with artists including The Schwag, The Werks, Ifdakar, Earphorik, Soul Symmetry, FlowPoetry, Ruckzuck, Jack O Roses, Newport All-Stars, A.j. Binash, Gary David & the Enthusiasts, Devil's Fen, Michael Schultz, Pine Travelers, Eric Hietpas, Alabaster, Derek Ramnarace, Low Down Sound, Earth to Clark, Mudroom, Detourious, Cosmic Strings, Jay Vonn, Dee 'n Mike (from Art of Ill Fusion), Left Field, Big Dill and the Boys, Rustbelt, Dr Beatz,  Funkyard Dealers, The Material Boys, IllumiNative Change, Those Grateful Guys, Nebulous the Poet, The Earthlings, The Workshy, The Shruggers, Anima, BoJo's Mojo, Curtis Goodman, Raising Red, Electric Spanking, Mission, Cosmic Railroad, White Bush Unicorn, Magic Conch, The Science Project, and many more.  In addition to all of these shows Sweet Delta Dawn also held down a monthly residency at The Frequency nightclub for 3 years.  The residency, presented by WIJAM and local sponsor Knuckleheads Tobacco & Gifts, was the premier monthly Jam Band event in the state capitol thanks to Sweet Delta Dawn and local Merry Prankster poet FlowPoetry.  “Freaky fun for all with Sweet Delta Dawn,” says FlowPoetry.
