media release: Singer-Songwriter, Saxophonist, Guitarist and Madison native Ted Hefko began writing lyrics in the second grade and picked up the guitar a couple years later along with any instrument he could get his hands on. At eighteen, he caught a Greyhound bus to the Big Easy to follow his dreams. Ted Hefko and The Thousandaires performed at The New Orleans Jazz and Heritage Festival this spring for the first time, presenting their music to fans from across the globe.
