The Airborne Toxic Event
press release: The Airborne Toxic Event announces today that they are rescheduling their 2020 dates to 2021 starting in February due to COVID-19 concerns. Current ticket holders may use their tickets for the 2021 rescheduled dates or have 30 days to receive a refund from their original point of purchase.
To celebrate with their fans, the band will perform songs from their new album, the highly anticipated Hollywood Park, with a livestream concert on release day, Friday, May 22 at 7pm Pacific Time. The live stream will take place from the legendary Studio 1 at East West Studios in Los Angeles where a vast array of iconic musicians including Frank Sinatra, the Rolling Stones and Elvis Presley have recorded. The livestream will be available on Facebook and YouTube. Hollywood Park arrives via Rounder Records.
HOLLYWOOD PARK arrives alongside a new literary work of the same name by front man Mikel Jollett, to be published by Celadon Books, a division of MacMillan, on May 26. Hollywood Park: A Memoir sees Jollett chronicling his extraordinary personal journey, from his early childhood in one of the most infamous cults of the 1970s, through a childhood of poverty and emotional abuse, before finding his voice as an artist among the confusion of an adult life spent nursing the wounds of childhood, and the redemption which came from looking inward and an acceptance of self and the fierce love of family. The book is already critically lauded and is Amazon's Spotlight pick, Book of The Month.
