Few bands exemplify the California sound quite like The Mowgli’s. The group was founded by San Fernando Valley natives, and their sound — which pinballs between folk and pop — is a sonic geography lesson from the Golden State. Their message is uplifting and their music dance-worthy. Appropriately, their breakout tune is “San Francisco,” off their 2015 album, Kids in Love. With Colony House, Dreamers.

press release: As the indie-rock six-piece THE MOWGLI’S are in the studio putting the finishing touches on their third album WHERE’D YOUR WEEKEND GO?--due out September 30 on Photo Finish Records--the group have teamed with Conan O'Brien's site TeamCoco.com to premiere a brand new song “Spacin Out.”

"'Spacin Out' is one of the songs I'm most excited about." explains COLIN DIEDEN. "The day we wrote it I had this feeling it was going to really affect not only the audience, but us when we play it live."

Known for their laid-back mix of sunny West Coast pop, garage rock and 60’s Laurel Canyon folk sound, THE MOWGLI’S have joined forces with producer Mike Green (All Time Low, Paramore) for the new album.
