Lucrecia Zappi is the author of two novels, Onça Preta (2013) and Acre (2017), which was a finalist for the Premio Jubati, one of Brazil's most coveted literary awards. She is also the author of Mil Folhas (2010), an essay on the history of pastries and cakes, through the production of sugar cane in the New World.
