Rev. Bazán is the co-pastor of Iglesia Bautista Kerigma in Holguín, Cuba and vice-president of the Fraternity of Baptist Churches of Cuba. He has served as vice-president of the Council of Churches in Cuba, delegate to the Council of Churches of Latin America (CLAI) and currently serves as national coordinator for mission, evangelism and ecumenism for CLAI. A graduate of the Universidad Bíblica Latinoamericana in Costa Rica, he has also studied theology in Brazil and Switzerland.
