Their name may call to mind some horrible dairy-related disaster, but the String Cheese Incident is anything but. The jam band legends have built their reputation on an ever-changing, progressive sound and a riveting live show that puts flamboyant performers like Phish and the Flaming Lips to shame. They last released A Song in My Head in 2014. Friday-Saturday, April 7-8, 8 pm.
This is a general admission performance. All seating and standing is first come first serve. Doors open at 7 PM, performance begins at 8 PM. $49.50.
press release: The String Cheese Incident will release Believe, their seventh studio album, on April 14 via SCI Fidelity Recordings. The album is the first to come out of the band's recently-opened Sound Lab Studio and was produced by Talking Heads keyboardist Jerry Harrison.
“My One And Only”, penned by keyboardist Kyle Hollingsworth, is slated to hit radio on April 3rd. The lead track from the album is a long-distance letter to a loved one and features Bonnie Paine of Elephant Revival on vocals.

In addition to the enthusiasm that the members of SCI share surrounding the recording process and hitting the road, there is also a strong collective desire to explore other forms of artistic, intellectual and creative expression, which finds the guys constantly engaged in a variety of outside but closely tied projects.
In addition to releasing studio albums via their own label, SCI Fidelity, SCI also curates and produces annual festivals like Electric Forest (featuring My Morning Jacket, Thievery Corporation, Odesza, Bassnectar and more) in the Summer and Hulaween in the Fall, interspersed by assorted Incident collaborations with the likes of Lauryn Hill, the Doobie Brothers, Big Gigantic and the Zac Brown Band.
