Use Your Smartphone to Stay Entertained this Winter
Being stuck inside while it is bitterly cold or snowy can be rough for people of all ages. But as long as you have a smartphone or tablet, blizzards, cold conditions or ice storms don’t have to derail the entire day. U.S. Cellular is hosting a free Device Workshop in Madison to show you the many ways your wireless device can keep the entire family entertained even when the weather outside keeps you indoors. The workshop is open to everyone, and you don’t need to be a U.S. Cellular customer to attend.
“Whether you want to learn something new or be entertained, the right apps and our high-quality network that works when and where you need it will help you stay connected on a cold and snowy day,” said Laurie Poellinger, director of sales in WI.
The free Device Workshop is being held at the Madison U.S. Cellular store at 4722 East Towne Boulevard on Sunday, February 7 at 7:30 a.m. According to a recent U.S. Cellular survey¹, 94 percent of people use their phone to keep themselves entertained, 89 percent use it to stay up-to-date with the latest news and 79 percent use it to play or download music. U.S. Cellular associates will be on hand to show attendees how to use these features and explain the many advantages smartphones have to offer.
