CANCELED: UW Arboretum Family Nature Program
UW Arboretum Visitor Center 1207 Seminole Hwy., Madison, Wisconsin 53711
press release: UW–Madison leadership has been monitoring the spread of COVID-19 and is working closely with local, state and federal agency partners. In an effort to slow the spread of the virus, they have announced that all non-essential events are cancelled beginning March 14 through at least April 12. This includes all Arboretum public events, such as walks, classes, family nature programs, and more. Private tours and event rentals will also be cancelled during this time. If you have questions, please get in touch with the contact person for your tour or event, or email info@arboretum.wisc.edu.
The Arboretum is following University guidance and we will continue to adapt our plans accordingly, keeping the health and safety of our community at the center of our decisions. We will share updates about programs after April 12 through our e-newsletter and the Arboretum website.
The Arboretum Visitor Center and grounds remain open. We encourage visitors to make decisions that are best for their own health when considering a visit to the Arboretum.
For information and updates related to the virus and our university’s response, please see UW–Madison’s COVID-19 website.
