Verona Area Concert Bands

media release: Verona Area Concert Bands invites the community to enjoy an evening of instrumental music on Thursday, May 15, 2025 at 7:30 PM at the Verona Area High School Performing Arts Center. Join us as we delve into a program that reveals the power of music to evoke both the allure of the unknown and the grandeur of the majestic. Selections will include:

Concert Band

· Procession of the Nobles - Nikolai Rimsky-Korsakov

· Tarot - Lindsay Bronnenkant

· Prelude No. 14, Op. 34 - Dimitri Shostakovich

· Commando March - Samuel Barber

Wind Symphony

· The Courtly Dances from Gloriana - Benjamin Britten

· Elsa's Procession to the Cathedral - Richard Wagner

· The Frozen Cathedral - John Mackey
