Walk for Dyslexia
media release: The 12th Annual Walk for Dyslexia-Madison will be held Saturday, May 15, 2021.
When held as an in-person gathering event our walk takes place at Brittingham Park in MadisonI.
Currently, we are planning to host a limited in-person event at Brittingham Park, Madison. If necessary, we will transition to a fully virtual event and notify all registrants. When you register, your non-refundable registration fee applies to either scenario. We will follow the recommendation of local public health officials in determining how we hold our event during this COVID-19 emergency as it continues into 2021.
Regardless of what form of engagement you choose, your support is critical to our ability to provide our life-changing one-on-one tutoring services. Our Walk has been a fun day for families and Center supporters to get together for over ten years. Yet we believe the main reason people register is to support the Center and to support the children that we serve. Thank you for continuing this tradition.
If we do have our planned in-person gathering on May 15, 2021, and you attend, you will be expected to abide by Covid-19 restrictions/precautions including, but not limited to:
1) Wearing a mask.
2) Staying at least six feet apart from others who are not in your household.
In addition, parents, you are responsible for your children abiding by these restrictions.
