Watertown Players' "An Evening with the Bard"

The Watertown Players will be presenting another of their “literary nights” when they present “An Evening with the Bard; Interpretive Readings from the Plays of William Shakespeare.”
The show will be performed Friday April 17 and Saturday April 18 at 7:00 pm each night at the Watertown Players’ Theater, located in the Market, 210 S. Water St., Watertown.
The show will include excerpts from Shakespeare’s famous comedies. Selections include readings from “The Taming of the Shrew”, “The Tempest”, “Two Gentlemen of Verona”, “A Midsummer Night’s Dream” and “Twelfth Night.” Each selection has been carefully chosen for the Watertown Player’s company of performers by the show’s director, Alice Mirk. The show will run approximately 90 minutes and as always there will be a special drink offer available to patrons of the theater, courtesy of the Market Cocktail Lounge.
Tickets for the show are now on sale. They are $10.00 (at the door or in advance ) and are available at Junio's Resale and Candy Shop, located in the Market, 210 S Water St , Watertown, and Piggly Wiggly 1330 Memorial Drive, Watertown.
