"Wings & Water" Call for Artists

River Arts, Inc. invites artists from around the nation to participate in a juried exhibit depicting their definition of wings and/or water. Examples of this may include works of birds, insects, fish, animals, rivers, etc.
Awards:
-$500 Best of Show
- $200 2nd Place
- Three $100 Honorable Mentions
Submissions:
Entry Fee: One entry for $35; additional entries $10 each. Limited to 4 submissions. Works must be original. All styles, media, and techniques accepted. 2-D and 3-D pieces accepted. Submissions must include title, media, size, and price. All works must remain at gallery for duration of exhibit. Deadline for submissions is January 1, 2016.
Presentation:
Size limit maximum 5ft. Two-dimensional work must be framed and wired for hanging. No sawtooths or clip hangers. Unframed or improperly mounted work will not be accepted.
Juror:
Marla Brenner graduated in art education from the University of Wisconsin-Madison. After 3 years of teaching her focus shifted to the commercial art industry for 20 years. She returned to teaching in the Graphic Design/Illustration department at Madison College, Madison Wisconsin. After 17 years as an instructor, she has now made painting her main focus.
Marla's work has been featured in "American Artist Magazine" and her paintings are on exhibit at Milward Farrell Fine Art Gallery in Madison Wisconsin (milwardfarrellfineart.com) and in collections throughout the United States.
